Johanna Hagström (born March 27, 1998 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Hagström, who starts for Ulricehamns IF, took part in junior competitions until 2018. Her best placings at the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival 2015 in Steg were 14th place over 5 km freestyle and fifth place with the mixed relay. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , she won the silver medal in the cross and the gold medal in the sprint. In addition, she won fourth place there over 5 km freestyle. She made her debut in the World Cup in January 2017 in Ulricehamn , which she finished in 59th place over 10 km freestyle. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Goms in 2018 , she won the bronze medal with the relay and also achieved 25th place over 5 km classic and eighth place in the skiathlon . In February 2018 she started the Scandinavian Cup in Trondheim for the first time and finished tenth in the sprint. In January 2019 she came in 28th place over 10 km freestyle at the U23 World Championships in Lahti and in sixth place in the 15 km mass start race and in the sprint and took her first victory in the Scandinavian Cup in the sprint in Vuokatti . The following month she came in Lahti with ninth place in the sprint for the first time in the World Cup in the points and achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the sprint in Cogne . At the beginning of March 2019 she was third on the mini tour in Madona . She won the classic 5 km and finally achieved second place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup and 55th place in the overall World Cup. The following year she won the silver medal in the sprint at the U23 World Championships in Oberwiesenthal . In addition, she was fourth there with the season.
