Johannes Huebl (actually Hübl ; born December 22, 1977 in Hanover ) is a German model .

Life

Huebl's father is the German economist and university professor Lothar Hübl , his older brother is the philosopher and author Philipp Hübl and his younger brother Julius is a neurologist at the Charité .

Johannes Huebl attended the Kaiser Wilhelm High School in his hometown of Hanover. When he was temporarily at King's Hospital boarding school in Dublin , he was discovered by a model scout at the age of 17. After graduating from high school in Hanover, he completed military service and began studying economics at the University of Hamburg . There a Hamburg model agency added him to their file. He continued his studies at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and obtained a degree in cultural studies .

In his modeling career, Huebl worked in campaigns for Hugo Boss , Ungaro and Ralph Lauren , he was a model for brands such as Calvin Klein , Dolce & Gabbana and Banana Republic and was photographed for magazines such as GQ , Vanity Fair , Elle , Vogue and Harper's Bazaar . Huebl was one of the most sought-after male models in the fashion industry.

He has been married to the American model Olivia Palermo since 2014. The couple met through mutual friends in 2008 and lives in New York.
