Johannisthal (colloquially: Johanisdāl ) is a district of the Heroldsberg market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .
location
The wasteland is directly on the federal highway 2 and on the Gründlach . In the north it borders arable land and grassland. The hallway is called Letten . In the south are the wooded areas Wedlach and Im Blech .
history
The place was founded by the brick maker Johann Egersdörfer, who originally lived in brick , in the municipality of Großgeschaidt and was named after his first name. In 1923, the brickworks ceased operations. In 1993 the farm was demolished. On May 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into Heroldsberg.
