John Etheridge (Bishop)
John Etheridge CP (born October 2, 1935 in Adelaide , † August 14, 2002 ) was Bishop of Vanimo .
Life
John Etheridge joined the Congregation of the Passionists in and received on 13 January 1971, the priestly ordination .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Vanimo on April 24, 1980 . The Archbishop of Port Moresby , Herman To Paivu , ordained him episcopally on August 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Leo Clement Andrew Arkfeld SVD , Archbishop of Madang , and Louis Vangeke MSC , Former Bishop of Bereina .
He resigned from this office on February 7, 1989.
