Johnathan McClain

Johnathan McClain (born July 2, 1970 in Myrtle Beach , South Carolina ) is an American actor .

life and career

Originally from Myrtle Beach , Johnathan McClain moved to Chicago at the age of 21 to write screenplays and perform as a solo entertainer . Due to his success with his show, he moved to New York City , where he appeared on Off-Broadway .

Although Johnathan McClain made his television debut in the movie Navy Kids in 1998 , it has only been since 2001 that he has appeared in films and series more often. One of his first appearances was on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . In 2005 he had his first leading role. He impersonated Patric in the UPN series The Bad Girl's Guide , which was discontinued after a season with six episodes. After numerous guest roles, including in CSI: Miami and 24 , McClain was only seen in a leading role again in 2011. In the sitcom Retired at 35 , broadcast on TV Land , he portrayed a successful lawyer who moves back to live with his parents. After the series ended in 2012, he made appearances in Crash & Bernstein and Mad Men .

McClain has been married to his wife Laura since September 5, 2010. The two live in both New York City and Los Angeles .
