Jonas Hamm

Jonas Hamm (born May 2, 1980 in Hamburg ) is a former German - Finnish middle distance runner who last started for the LG Braunschweig .

His greatest successes include his victories at the Finnish championships in the 1500 meter run (2004, 2005, 2007 (open air) and 2011 (indoor)) and at the German championships over 3000 meters indoors (2011). At the international level he represented Finland at the 2005 World Athletics Championships in Helsinki , in 2006 and 2010 in the European Championships (each about 1500 m) and 2011 at the European Indoor Championships over 3000m in part. He was eliminated in the preliminary run.

Jonas Hamm has a competition weight of 78 kg with a height of 1.96 m. Until 2005 he started for the LG Wedel / Pinneberg and in 2006 for the LC Erfurt . He has been running for the LG Braunschweig since 2007 and is trained by Jörg Voigt.

Hamm interrupted his law studies at the Bucerius Law School in 2005 in favor of his sporting career. After retiring from professional sport in 2013, he resumed his studies.
