Jonas Hartmann (* 1975 in Berlin ) is a German actor , speaker and author .

Life

Jonas Hartmann comes from an artistic family. His father is a writer, his grandfather Heinz Hartmann wrote comedies and burlesques ; his uncle is the actor and playwright Gunther Beth . He grew up in Berlin-Steglitz . After graduating from high school and doing community service , he first studied musicology for one semester ; then he did an internship at a film and television production company. In 1998 he applied to various state drama schools and was accepted at the "Konrad Wolf" Film and Television Academy in Potsdam - Babelsberg , where he completed his acting studies from June 1998 to September 2002. During his studies he played a. a. at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz (2001; in The Fall of Biljana Srbljanović ) and at the Berliner Ensemble (2002; in Biedermann und die Brandstifter ). After studying acting, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Cottbus State Theater from 2002 to 2005 . He has been working as a freelance actor since summer 2006. In the 2009/10 season he was a guest at the Cottbus State Theater.

His theater roles included u. a. Hartmann played his first film roles during his studies, for example the small role of the border guard Micha Benneke in the feature film Der Tunnel (2001) under the direction of Roland Suso Richter . He then took part in several diploma and university films. From 2006 he was mainly on television, mostly in smaller roles. In the television film Family is something wonderful (2008) he played the programmer Steffen Dietz, who lives with Anja ( Julia-Maria Köhler ), the daughter of the main female character Christine Bonhoff ( Rita Russek ). In the fairy tale film The Brave Little Tailor (2008) he had a supporting role; he was the warlord Samuel.

He also had episode roles a. a. in the television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast (2005; as Micha), GSG 9 - Your commitment is her life (2008; as Christian Blanck) and SOKO Leipzig (2012; as a suspect Stefan Berger, who is looking for blind dates on the Internet ). In January 2017 Hartmann was seen in the ZDF series SOKO Wismar in an episode role; He played the used vehicle dealer Knut Förster from Wismar. In 2012 Hartmann published his first novel at Heyne Verlag , the detective novel Südstern , set in Berlin-Neukölln and originally conceived as a TV series. It is about two young plainclothes police officers who witness a murder disguised as an accident.

Hartmann lives with his wife and child in Cottbus and Berlin .
