Jorge Ángel Saldía Pedraza
Jorge Ángel Saldía Pedraza OP (born August 13, 1968 in Buena Vista-La Arboleda , Ichilo Province , Bolivia ) is a Bolivian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Tarija .
Life
Jorge Ángel Pedraza Saldía joined in 1993 the Dominican order in and received on 25 May 2001, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Phelbes and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of La Paz on March 25, 2014 . The episcopal ordination donated it and the same time appointed Auxiliary Bishop Aurelio Pesoa Ribera OFM Archbishop of La Paz, Edmundo Luis Flavio Abastoflor Montero , the same year on 5 June. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Sergio Alfredo Gualberti Calandrina , and the Vicar Apostolic of Ñuflo de Chávez , Antoni Bonifacy Reimann, OFM.
On October 11, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Tarija. The inauguration took place on December 12 of the same year.
