Francisco Javier Del Río Sendino (born January 22, 1942 in Palencia , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Tarija .

Life

Francisco Javier Del Río Sendino was ordained a priest on June 29, 1965 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Tarija on January 10, 2006 . The episcopal ordination donated to him the Archbishop of Santa Cruz de la Sierra , Julio Cardinal Terrazas Sandoval CSsR , on March 30th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Ivo Scapolo , Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia , and Jesús Gervasio Pérez Rodríguez OFM , Archbishop of Sucre .

On October 11, 2019, Pope Francis accepted Francisco Javier Del Río Sendino's resignation due to reasons of age.
