Jorge Giovanny Pazmiño Abril OP (born July 3, 1965 in Baños , Tungurahua Province , Ecuador ) is an Ecuadorian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Ambato .
Life
Jorge Giovanny Pazmiño Abril joined the religious order of the Dominicans at and received on 16 December 1995, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 20, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ambato. The Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador, Archbishop Giacomo Guido Ottonello , donated him episcopal ordination on March 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Quito , Fausto Gabriel Trávez Trávez OFM , and the emeritus Bishop of Ambato, Germán Trajano Pavón Puente .
