Jorge Vea (born April 15, 1994 in Donostia-San Sebastián ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who is under contract with CH Txuri Urdin in the Super League .

Career

Jorge Vea began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of CH Txuri Urdin , for whom he made his debut in the super league in the 2010/11 season . In 2016 he won the Copa del Rey with the blue and white from the Basque Country ; In 2017 and 2018 he became Spanish champions with the club .

International

For Spain, Vea initially took part in the U18 World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 , when he was voted the best player in his team, as well as in the U20 World Championships in 2011 , 2012 , 2013 and 2014 in Division II. He also represented his colors at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Grenada .

He played with the men's national team in the title fights of Division II in 2013 , 2014 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 , when he had the best plus / minus balance of the tournament. He also played for the Iberians in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
