José Trinidad Zapata Ortiz (born May 24, 1959 in Zacatecas , Mexico ) is Bishop of Papantla .

Life

José Trinidad Zapata Ortiz received on 9 May 1990, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 12, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Andrés Tuxtla . The bishop emeritus of San Andrés Tuxtla, Guillermo Ranzahuer González , donated him episcopal ordination on July 31 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio to Mexico, Archbishop Giuseppe Bertello , and the Archbishop of Jalapa , Sergio Obeso Rivera .

On March 20, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Papantla.
