José de Lanza Neto (born December 31, 1952 in Pirangi , State of São Paulo ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Guaxupé .

Life

José de Lanza Neto was ordained a priest for the diocese of Jaboticabal on October 31, 1980 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Londrina and titular bishop of Mades on June 23, 2004 . The Bishop of Jaboticabal, Fernando Antônio Brochini CSS , donated him episcopal ordination on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Albano Bortoletto Cavallin , Archbishop of Londrina, and Luíz Eugênio Pérez , Former Bishop of Jaboticabal.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 13, 2007 Bishop of Guaxupé.
