Josef Adolf Lang
Josef Adolf Lang , also Joseph Adolph Lang (born December 18, 1873 in Vienna ; † November 3, 1936 ibid), was an Austrian portrait and decorative painter as well as a lithographer and graphic artist .
Life
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Lang lived in Düsseldorf at the beginning of the 20th century , where he designed posters , in 1902 for an exhibition of the Düsseldorf Artists' Association , in 1903 for the International Art and Horticulture Exhibition in Düsseldorf in 1904 . From 1906 to 1914 he was a member of the Malkasten artists' association . From 1911 he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . There was, among others, Hugo von Habermann his teacher.
