Josef Weberbauer (born March 13, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Weberbauer began his career at SV Kuchl . For the 2007/08 season he moved to the youth team at FC Red Bull Salzburg . He returned to Kuchl for the 2012/13 season. In April 2014 he played for Kuchl's first team in the Salzburg League for the first time . In three seasons for the first team of Kuchl he came to 66 missions.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the regional division USK Anif . He made his debut in the regional league in July 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Sebastian Wachter in the 86th minute of the first match day of that season against FC Dornbirn 1913 . In the game that Anif won 4-0, Weberbauer also scored his first regional league. In his first season with Anif, he came to 23 regional league appearances in which he scored four goals. In the 2017/18 season he came to 26 missions, in the 2018/19 season to 25.

For the 2019/20 season he joined the league competitor Salzburger AK 1914 . For Salzburg, he made 18 appearances in the Salzburg Regionalliga, in which he scored two goals. After half a year at the SAK, he moved to the second division team Grazer AK in February 2020 . He made his debut in the 2nd league in February 2020 when he was in the starting line-up against Floridsdorfer AC on matchday 17 of the 2019/20 season and was replaced by Filip Smoljan in stoppage time .
