Marco Sebastian Gantschnig (born October 8, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Gantschnig started his career at SG Steinfeld . In 2007 he moved to SV Möllbrücke . In 2011 he came to the academy of SK Sturm Graz . In April 2014 he made his debut for the amateurs of Graz in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Florin Schmidt in the 80th minute against SAK Klagenfurt on matchday 21 of the 2013/14 season .

In the 2014/15 season, Gantschnig was used in 24 regional league games. In September 2015 he scored his first goal for Sturm II in a 1-1 draw against the amateurs of Wolfsberger AC .

After more than 100 games for the amateurs of Sturm Graz, he moved to the second division Kapfenberger SV for the 2018/19 season . He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against the second team of FK Austria Wien on the first day of that season . After the 2018/19 season he left Kapfenberg and switched to league rivals Grazer AK , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
