Jakob Meierhofer (born November 6, 1997 ) is an Austrian soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Meierhofer started his career at SV Gössendorf . In February 2012 he moved to USV Vasoldsberg . For the 2012/13 season he came to the JAZ GU-Süd . After a season in JAZ GU-Süd, he moved to the academy of FC Admira Wacker Mödling for the 2013/14 season .

Without having played for the amateurs beforehand, he moved into the Admira's professional squad for the 2015/16 season. In August 2015 he finally played against SV Oberwart for the first time for the amateurs in the Regionalliga . In the 2015/16 season he did not appear in the Bundesliga and eight regional league appearances. In the 2016/17 season he was again not used by the professionals, but played ten games in the third-highest division. From the 2017/18 season he was only part of the amateur squad, for which he came to three missions.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the regional division TuS Bad Gleichenberg . For the Styrians he played twelve games in the regional league. After a season at Bad Gleichenberg, Meierhofer joined the second division club SV Lafnitz for the 2019/20 season . He made his debut in the second division in June 2020 when he was in the starting line-up against the second team of FK Austria Wien on matchday 21 of that season .

For the 2020/21 season he switched to league rivals Grazer AK .
