Joe Dombrowski

Joseph Lloyd "Joe" Dombrowski (born May 12, 1991 in Christiana , Delaware ) is an American road cyclist .

Career

Joseph Dombrowski drove for the American Continental Team Trek Livestrong U23 as a stagiaire at the end of the 2010 season and had a regular contract there from 2011 to 2012. At the Giro della Valle d'Aosta 2011 he won the fifth stage in Torgnon and in the overall standings he finished second behind the winner Fabio Aru . In 2012 he won two stages and the overall ranking of the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia .

In 2013 he received his first contract with a UCI ProTeam , the British team Sky Professional Cycling . In 2015 he won a stage and the overall classification of the Tour of Utah as a member of the Cannondale-Garmin team . He contested his first Grand Tour with the Vuelta a España in 2015 and finished the tour in 46th place overall.
