Jules Gounon (born December 31, 1994 ) is a French racing driver .

Life

Jules Gounon is the son of the French car racing driver Jean-Marc Gounon , he started his career in karting at the age of 15. In 2013 he moved to the French Formula 4 championship where he was runner-up. In 2017 he became champion in the ADAC GT Masters on a Chevrolet Corvette from the German Callaway Competition team . Also in 2017 he and his driver colleagues Markus Winkelhock & Christopher Haase won the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race .

He has signed a contract as a works driver with Bentley since 2018 and competes for the team in the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Intercontinental GT Challenge .
