Julius Dusin Gitom (born October 14, 1957 in Kampung Loltos ) is Bishop of Sandakan .

Life

The Bishop of Kota Kinabalu , John Lee Hiong Fun-Yit Yaw , ordained him on 19 November 1989 priests .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Sandakan on July 16, 2007 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Thailand , Singapore and Cambodia and the Apostolic Delegate in Myanmar , Laos , Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam , Salvatore Pennacchio , on October 15 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Cornelius Piong , Bishop of Keningau , and John Lee Hiong Fun-Yit Yaw, Archbishop of Kota Kinabalu .
