Julius Hundiker

Elias Gerhard Julius Hundiker (born September 17, 1784 in Groß Lafferde , † February 24, 1854 in Hötensleben ) was a German novelist .

Life

The son of the pedagogue Johann Peter Hundiker studied theology in Helmstedt 1802-1805 , then was a teacher of modern languages, history and aesthetics at the educational institution of his father, the philanthropist in Vechelde Castle . From 1809 Julius Hundiker was pastor in the Helmstedt area, first in Schöningen , in 1814 in Scheppau and Rotenkamp , in 1820 in Apelnstedt and Volzum and in 1831 in Hötensleben, where he lived until his death in 1854.
