Junglee ( Hindi : जंगली , jaṅglī "wild, out of the forest, jungle)" is a 1961 Hindi film by Subodh Mukherjee .
action
Shekhar returns to his homeland after a long stay abroad. Crowned with success, he still strictly adheres to his mother's principles: never laugh and never love - this is the only way to get ahead in life. His sister Mala is completely different. She fell in love with Jeevan and has to keep their relationship a secret. To make matters worse, she will soon become pregnant.
In Kashmir , Mala asks her friend Rajkumari (in German: princess ) for help. She is supposed to distract Shekhar and lures him into the mountains. There they get caught in a heavy snowstorm, which is why they are forced to stop in a hut. During their days-long stay, the two get closer and finally fall in love.
Time flies. Mala secretly gives birth to her child and Shekhar has become a new man. Back home, the mother Shekhar wants to marry a princess. Shekhar doesn't like this at all and acts like a madman in front of the princess. This doesn’t bother the princess, because she and her family are after Shekhar's fortune.
As luck would have it, the Princess visits Shekhar at the same time as Rajkumari and her father. Shekhar's mother mistakenly thinks Rajkumari is the princess until the real princess shows up. Rajkumari inserts Mala's child, about whom no one knows yet, under. In order to keep Mala's secret, she has no choice but to agree to the claim. Mala cannot allow this and admits to being the mother of the child in front of everyone. Her mother is outraged when the princess's brother suddenly bursts in and threatens them all with a gun. Shekhar can successfully disarm him. Now Shekhar's mother realizes that she has made a big mistake and accepts the child as well as Rajkumari.
