Burgel Justice Office

The Bürgel Justice Office was a court of first instance of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach with its seat in Bürgel, which existed from 1850 to 1879 .

When administration and justice were separated in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach in 1850 and the patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished, the Bürgel and Tautenburg office , which had previously been responsible for all sovereign tasks, was abolished. The Bürgel Justice Office was created in its place for the administration of justice, its district consisting of the communities Beulbar , Bürgel , Dothen , Frauenprießnitz , Gerega , Gniebsdorf , Grabsdorf , Graitschen , Großlöbichau , Ilmsdorf , Jenalöbnitz , Kleinlöbichau, Löberschütz , Mertendorf , Nausnitz , Poppendorf , Poxdorf , Rockau , Rodigast , Taupadel , Tautenburg , Thalbürgel , Waldeck , Wetzdorf and Wogau .

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Bürgel Justice Office was dissolved, and the places forming its district came to the newly established Jena District Court .
