Jutta Huebner

Jutta Hübner (* 1962 ) is a German professor for integrative oncology .

Career

Hübner studied human medicine from 1982 to 1988 at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. She did her doctorate in human genetics on the subject of “About malformations of the heart and the upper extremities, in particular the Holt-Oram syndrome”. From 1988 to 1997 she was an assistant doctor in the medical clinic of the Remscheid municipal hospitals . Hübner has been a specialist in internal medicine since 1995 ; she also acquired the additional qualification in chirotherapy in 1995, the additional qualification in naturopathy in 1996 and a diploma in acupuncture in 1997 . After positions as senior physician in the oncology department of the Habichtswald Clinic in Kassel, as an assistant physician in the clinic for tumor biology in Freiburg and as a senior internist in the clinic for radiation therapy at the Robert Janker Clinic in Bonn, she was chief physician at the Rehabilitation Clinic Bellevue in 2001 Bad Soden-Salmünster. In 2000, Hübner qualified as a nutritionist doctor ( DGEM ), acquired the specialization in hematology and internal oncology and the ESMO exam , which she repeated in 2005 and 2009. In 2003 she completed her training as a TQM assessor according to EFQM . After further positions as chief physician at the Prof. Volhard Clinic in Masserberg and as chief physician in the oncology department of the Habichtswald Clinic in Kassel, she became head of the palliative medicine, supportive and complementary oncology department at the University Center for Tumor Diseases (UCT) of the Frankfurt University Hospital in 2009 . In 2004 she completed a distance learning course in health economics and qualified as a quality manager in health care ( DGQ ). In 2006 she acquired the additional qualification in palliative medicine and in 2010 she received the final certificate in the psycho-oncology curriculum . Since 2012 Hübner is the head of the working group Integrative Oncology of Dr. Senckenberg chronomedical institute at the University of Frankfurt / Main . She completed her habilitation in 2014 on the subject of "From Complementary Medicine to Integrative Oncology - Current Analysis and Future Perspectives". Since 2017 she has held the endowed professorship for integrative oncology of the German Cancer Aid at the Jena University Hospital .

Functions

Hübner was an extraordinary member from 2013 to 2016 and has been a full member of the Medicines Commission of the German Medical Association since 2017 . She is the coordinator for the guideline complementary medicine in the oncological guideline program and a mandate holder or expert in several S3 guidelines of the oncological guideline program. Since 2010 she has been chairwoman of the Prevention and Integrative Oncology Working Group of the German Cancer Society with a focus on prevention , nutrition , physical activity and complementary oncology . She is a member of the German Society for Hematology and Oncology (DGHO), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the German Working Group on Psycho-Oncology (Dapo), the German Society for Nutritional Medicine (DGEM) and the German Society for Palliative Medicine . From 2013 to 2016 she was head of the scientific database project at the German Cancer Society . Hübner is a member of the Münsteraner Kreis , an interdisciplinary association of experts in the field of complementary and alternative medicine , which advocates evidence-based medicine . She is also a member of the scientific advisory board for the investigative medium MedWatch . In 2017 she founded the Perspektiven für Menschen foundation and is chair of the board of trustees. In April 2020, Hübner succeeded Natalie Grams as head of the homeopathy information network , which has set itself the task of providing objective and critical information about homeopathy .
