The nature reserve Königsberger See, Kattenstiegsee lies in the area of ​​the communities Gumtow and Heiligengrabe in the district Ostprignitz-Ruppin in Brandenburg .

The 225 hectare area was placed under nature protection by ordinance of November 17, 2016 . The nature reserve, consisting of two parts, with the 53 hectare Königsberger See and the Kattenstiegsee extends south, southwest and southeast of Königsberg , a district of the municipality of Heiligengrabe. The state road L 144 runs north of the area and the L 14 to the east.
