The head is 567 m above sea level. NHN high wooded mountain in the Odenwald in the west of the Reisenbach district of the municipality of Mudau in the Neckar-Odenwald district in Baden-Württemberg . The Salzlackenkopf ( 577.7 m ) is located around 700 m northwest of the Köpfchen , a good 1 km east of the Hart ( 580.8 m ) with the Reisenbach telecommunications tower . The state border to Hesse runs about 600 m northeast of the summit.
In the north the head has a ridge 554.5 m above sea level. NHN high secondary peak, which connects to the Schildenberg ( 552.3 m ) about two and a half kilometers away and which drops steeply and deeply to the northeast in the Lichtewald into the valley basin of the Galmbach at the forester's house Eduardsthal .
