Kurt Eugen Ludwig (born May 2, 1924 in Erlangen , † March 4, 1995 in Munich ) was a German actor , voice actor , dialogue book author and dialogue director .

Life

Since he was rarely in front of the camera, his voice has become much better known than his name. Kurt E. Ludwig was the German voice actor for chief engineer Scotty ( James Doohan ) in the US television series Raumschiff Enterprise and the films based on it. This bond also resulted in a friendship between Ludwig and Doohan.
