Kai Gehring (born February 12, 1988 in Eislingen ) is a German soccer player who has been playing for SG Sonnenhof Großaspach since 2013 .

career

Gehring began playing soccer at ASV Eislingen and moved to VfB Stuttgart at the age of twelve . In the A youth he moved from SSV Ulm to 1. FC Nürnberg . The “Club” found the then 18-year-old an apartment and an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk. With the Nuremberg U-23 he rose in 2008 from the Bayern League to the Regionalliga . There the SV Wehen Wiesbaden became aware of the central defender. After Wehen's second division relegation, Kai Gehring moved to the Hessians and quickly played his way into the team in the third division . In the first half of the 2010/11 season he was only used in the Wehen Regionalliga team, then Gehring moved in January 2011 to third division club 1. FC Saarbrücken , for whom he played until summer 2012. After a period of non-association, he joined SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the Regionalliga Südwest in summer 2013 . With the SGS he rose to the 3rd division in the 2013/14 season .
