Özgür Özdemir (born January 10, 1995 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Turkish - German soccer player .

Career

Özdemir started his career in his hometown with FSV Frankfurt . In 2009 he moved to city rivals Eintracht Frankfurt . In the summer of 2014 he moved to the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg . At the club he was only used in the regional league.

For the 2016/17 season Özdemir moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Ried . He made his Bundesliga debut on matchday one of the 2016/17 season against SK Rapid Wien .

After relegation from the Bundesliga, he returned to Germany for the 2017/18 season, where he moved to third division club SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , where he received a contract valid until June 2019.

The contract was terminated prematurely and Özdemir signed with 1. FC Kaiserslautern until 2021. Özdemir moved to Adanaspor in Turkey after just one season in Kaiserslautern . There he made five league and two cup appearances before his contract was terminated in mid-January 2020. In summer 2020 he joined his ex-club Großaspach, which had previously been relegated to the Regionalliga Südwest .
