Kaltenmark is a village belonging to Krosigk in the Petersberg municipality in Saxony-Anhalt .

The village is about a kilometer northeast of Krosigk. The Krosigker Graben and the L 145 road run through the village .

The first documentary mention of Kaltenmark comes from the year 1446. In 1933 Kaltenmark counted 312 inhabitants, in 1939 287 inhabitants. Kaltenmark was an independent municipality until 1950, but was then incorporated into Krosigk on July 1, 1950. Together with Krosigk, Kaltenmark came to the newly formed Petersberg community in 2010.

In addition to the village church of Kaltenmark and the memorial for the wars of liberation , several buildings are listed as cultural monuments in the local register of monuments. Parts of Halleschen Straße are designated as a monument area. The townscape is particularly shaped by the grounds of the manor. In the village there is also the oak in Kaltenmark , which was declared a natural monument in 1976 .

The German sculptor Andreas Freyer lives and works in the village .
