The Canton of Levens was 2015 a French canton of arrondissement Nice , in the department of Alpes-Maritimes of the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . The main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Levens . Alain Frère ( UMP ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1989 to 2015 .
