The canton of Peyruis was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Forcalquier in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprised four parishes with Peyruis as the main town (French: chef-lieu ). The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. His last representatives in the conseil général des Départements were Francis Galizi ( UMP ) from 1982 to 2008 and Gérard de Meester ( EELV ) from 2008 to 2015 .
