The canton Sisteron is a French constituency in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprises 15 parishes in the Arrondissement of Forcalquier and has its bureau centralisateur in Sisteron .

Until the reorganization, the canton of Sisteron included the 5 municipalities of Authon , Entrepierres , Mison , Saint-Geniez and Sisteron . Its layout corresponded to an area of 208.86 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0427. In the course of the reorganization, it included the municipalities of the dissolved cantons of Noyers-sur-Jabron .
