The canton of Barrême was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Digne-les-Bains in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprised eight parishes, the main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Barrême . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. His last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Jean Marie Gibelin from 2004 to 2015.
