Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the arrondissement of Digne-les-Bains became the area of the nine municipalities Barrême , Blieux , Chaudon-Norante , Clumanc , La Palud-sur-Verdon , Saint-Jacques , Saint-Lions , Senez and Tartonne the arrondissement of Castellane and the area of the 16 municipalities of Allemagne-en-Provence , Brunet , Entrevennes , Esparron-de-Verdon , Gréoux-les-Bains , Le Castellet , Montagnac-Montpezat , Oraison , Puimichel , Puimoisson , Quinson , Riez , Roumoules , Assigned to the Arrondissement of Forcalquier , Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon , Saint-Martin-de-Brômes and Valensole .
The area of the six municipalities of Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban , Ganagobie , L'Escale , Mallefougasse-Augès , Peyruis and Volonne changed from the Arrondissement Forcalquier to the Arrondissement Digne-les-Bains.
