Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the six communes Alleins , Eyguières , Lamanon , Mallemort , Sénas and Vernègues from the Arrondissement Arles and the commune Gréasque from the Arrondissement Marseille were assigned to the Arrondissement Aix-en-Provence. For this, the two communities of Cornillon-Confoux and Grans moved from the Arrondissement of Aix-en-Provence to the Arrondissement of Istres and the municipality of Septèmes-les-Vallons to the Arrondissement of Marseille.
