Alleins is a French commune with 2,512 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur .
geography
The municipality is located 35 kilometers northwest of Aix-en-Provence and 13 kilometers north of Salon-de-Provence . It lies in the hinterland of the Durance .
Neighboring communities of Alleins are Mallemort in the north and east, Vernègues in the southeast, Aurons in the south, Lamanon in the west and Sénas in the northwest.
