The District of Saint-Christophe-en-Bazelle was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Issoudun in the Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town was Saint-Christophe-en-Bazelle . His representative in the Conseil Régional until 2014 was Serge Pinault.
As part of the reorganization of the French cantons in 2015, the canton was dissolved and its previous municipalities reassigned to other cantons.
geography
The canton was in the north of the department. In the west it bordered on the canton of Valençay , in the north on the Loir-et-Cher department , in the east on the Cher department and in the south on the cantons of Vatan and Levroux . Its area ranged from 72 m in Chabris to 156 m in Poulaines above sea level with an average altitude of 110 m.
