Kapern is a district of the town of Schnackenburg in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is 3 kilometers southwest of Schnackenburg and 26 kilometers northeast of Lüchow (Wendland) , the seat of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. The neighboring towns are Schnackenburg and Lütkenwisch in the northeast, Gummern in the east, Stresow , Klein Wanzer and Aulosen in the southeast, Bömenzien in the south, Nienwalde in the southwest, Gartow in the west, and Holtorf in the northwest.
