Gummern is a district of the town of Schnackenburg in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is 2 kilometers southwest of Schnackenburg and 28 kilometers northeast of Lüchow (Wendland) , the seat of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. The neighboring towns are Schnackenburg in the north, Lütkenwisch , Cumlosen and Wentdorf in the northeast, Müggendorf , Klein Wanzer , Stresow and Aulosen in the southeast, Bömenzien and Nienwalde in the southwest, Kapern in the west and Holtorf in the northwest.
