The Kappel Laine , in the upper reaches Kappel ditch called, is an approximately 4.2 km long, east and right tributary of bunting in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen .

The Kappellaine rises as a Kappelgraben in the Ammergau Alps . Its source is in the municipality of Bad Kohlgrub in the Hörnle group ( 1496  m above sea  level ) on the common western slope of the Vorderen Hörnles ( 1484  m ) and Middle Hörnles ( 1496  m ) at an altitude of about 1400  m . The brook , which crosses about 0.4 km below its source into the municipality of Unterammergau , flows first in a south-westerly and then in a westerly direction. About 1 km after crossing under the federal highway 23 and 0.5 km after the Ammergaubahn , the Kappellaine flows below the Unterammergau center at an altitude of about 824  m into the Isar tributary Ammer coming from the south . The Unterammergau hamlet of Scherenau lies to the south-west of its mouth .
