The carom European championships 2017 are a billiards tournament in the section carom and will take place from April 28th to May 7th 2017 in the Stahlpalast in Brandenburg an der Havel . A total of around 500 players, including only 15 women, from 21 countries will fight for 18 European championship titles in various classes, disciplines and table sizes within ten days.

For the third time in a row, the European championships in carom will take place in Brandenburg an der Havel. With the various European championships in pool and carom, the city is an important venue for European billiards.

As in the previous tournaments in 2013 and 2015, all disciplines, all age groups and all genders will be united in one tournament. The game is played on 20  boards (12 match billiards, 8 small billiards) at the same time, daily from 9 a.m. to midnight. The French Internet TV broadcaster Kozoom will broadcast the event again live. The viewer can look at different tables or disciplines, almost all tables are equipped with cameras.

Not only will European championships be awarded, the players will also fight to qualify for the World Games that will take place in the Polish city of Wroclaw in the summer .

Disciplines

The disciplines free game , cadre 47/2 , cadre 71/2, cover , three cushion , art kick (Billard Artistique) and 5-cone billiards were played at match billiards , at small billiards only free game and three cushion.
