Karl Aderhold

Karl Aderhold (born June 30, 1884 in Stolberg (Harz) , † June 20, 1921 in Hanover ) was a German politician . In 1920 he represented the Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany (USPD) in the Reichstag .

Life

Karl Aderhold, son of a miner, came from the Harz region, where he attended the eight-grade elementary school in Stolberg until 1898. From 1898 to 1902 he attended the crafts and arts and crafts school in Hanover and at the same time learned the carpentry trade and was active in this profession in Hanover . Until 1914 he was a journeyman carpenter and from 1914 to 1918 head of a joinery. In 1917 he joined the USPD . From November 1918 Aderhold worked for the Hanoverian Workers 'and Soldiers' Council and represented it until 1919 as deputy chief of police in Hanover's police headquarters. He was a city councilor and in the Constituent German 1919 National Assembly elected. From 1919 until his untimely death Aderhold was mayor and member of the Reichstag , from 1920 to 1921 he was also a member of the Hanover provincial parliament .
