Karl August Mosig von Aehrenfeld
Karl August Mosig von Aehrenfeld ( Upper Sorbian Korla Awgust Mosak-Kłosopólski ; * May 7, 1820 in Eiserode , † July 31, 1898 in Kleinschweidnitz near Löbau ) was a lawyer and member of the Reichstag .
Mosig attended grammar school in Bautzen from 1832 to 1839 , and studied law in Leipzig from 1839 to 1844 . From 1844 to 1856 he was a court clerk, from 1848 a lawyer in Löbau . He owned the Kleinschweidnitz manor .
In 1839 Mosig was a co-founder of the Sorbian high school student association Societas Slavica Budissinensis, in 1841 he founded an academic Slavic association.
Mosig was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and in 1871 he became a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Saxony 2 (Löbau-Bernstadt) for the National Liberal Party .
