Karl Cornelius
Karl Cornelius , also Carl Cornelius , (born July 1, 1868 in Berlin ; † January 15, 1938 ) was a German architect and construction clerk .
Life
He worked in the service of a government master builder , later an agricultural inspector at the Prussian Railway Directorate in Berlin , and from 1920 onwards, Reichsbahndirektion Berlin . There he was Fritz Klingholz's successor .
Numerous buildings, in the planning of which he was involved, are listed .

Together with the architect Waldemar Suadicani , Cornelius designed, within the framework of the Prussian Normalien (guidelines that defined the uniform structure of the Prussian railway network), standardized stalls for platforms, the designs of which can still be found in old Berlin stations, and as they were after the renovation of the Berlin Ostkreuz station historical model to be rebuilt.
