Karl Heyl

Karl Heyl (born September 6, 1812 in Leisel , † November 17, 1893 in Saarbrücken ) was a lawyer and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Heyl studied law in Heidelberg from 1827 to 1830 , later was a justice of the peace and then a district judge in Saarlouis and Saarbrücken. From 1849 to 1862 and again from 1867 to 1879 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

From 1867 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the customs parliament for the constituency of Trier 4 ( Saarlouis , Merzig , Saarburg ). In the Constituent Reichstag of 1867 he joined the Old Liberal Center and in the First Ordinary Reichstag from 1867 to 1871 he belonged to the faction of the Free Association .

From 1867 to 1870 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the same constituency and from 1871 to 1879 for the Saarbrücken- Ottweiler - St. Wendel constituency . He remained non-attached in both legislative terms.
