Karl Köhler (politician, 1815)

Karl Gustav Köhler (born April 11, 1815 in Fürth (Odenwald) ; † August 15, 1894 ibid) was a Hessian businessman and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Köhler was the son of the official physician Johann Philipp Wilhelm Köhler and his wife Agnes, née Gießen. Köhler, who was a Catholic, was a merchant in Fürth and married Friederica Carolina nee Rupprecht.

From 1872 to 1875 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 5 / Fürth .
