Johannes Wedge

Johannes Keil (born February 2, 1809 in Fürth (Odenwald) ; † August 15, 1874 there ) was a Hessian farmer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johannes Keil was the son of the inheritor and court judge Philipp Keil (1762-1839) and his wife Anna Margaretha , née Giegerich (1775-1836). Keil, who was a Catholic, was a farmer in Fürth and married Maria Katharina nee Krastel (1811–1873).

In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament . From 1847 to 1856 and again from 1865 to 1872 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 6 and 9 / Fürth . In the estates he took conservative positions. He was an alderman and later mayor of Fürth.
