Karl Freiherr von Kleinsorgen (born December 1, 1829 at Gut Schüren near Meschede , † January 12, 1889 in Berlin ) was a German judge in the province of Westphalia . He was a Catholic member of the Prussian House of Representatives and the Constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Karl von Kleinsorgen's family came from the County of Lippe . After initial private lessons, he attended the Theodorianum in Paderborn and the Laurentianum grammar school in Arnsberg . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Hessian Ludwig University from the winter semester 1849/50 . In 1850 he was reciprocated in the Corps Teutonia Giessen . When he was inactive , he moved to the Friedrichs University in Halle .

After completing his studies, Kleinsorgen entered the administration of justice in the Kingdom of Prussia in 1852 as an auscultator . He completed his legal clerkship in Burgsteinfurt and from 1856 to 1858 in Münster . After that he was assessor in Neuwied , Wetzlar , Linz am Rhein and Asbach (Westerwald) . From 1863 to 1869 he was a district judge in Haltern and from 1869 to 1889 in Meschede. In 1879 he received the title of district judge .

From 1863 to 1867 Kleinsorgen was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives as a member of the Münster – Coesfeld constituency. In the House of Representatives he first joined the Catholic parliamentary group , later the left center. From February to October 1867 he was a member of the Constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament . He belonged to the faction of the Free Association .
