Karoline Offigstad Knotten starts for the club Vingrom IL . She made her international competition debut in November 2016 at the IBU Cup in Beitostølen . In the following season she won - together with Emilie Ågheim Kalkenberg , Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen and Vegard Gjermundshaug - the mixed relay in Obertilliach and thus her first race in the IBU Cup. That winter she also took part in the European Championships in Ridnaun . In the winter of 2018/19 Knotten competed in her first World Cup race on the Pokljuka plateau. In the sprint, she clearly missed the points and qualification for the pursuit race with a 75th place. In the IBU Cup in Obertilliach she achieved her first podium finish in an individual race with a third place in the super sprint. The improved this performance in the same winter in Martell at the mass start 60 by one place.
